What measures does wansse take for safe shopping?
Credit Card and Payment
- Only your first and last name from your credit card information is stored. No other information is stored within wansse.
- The data exchange between the payment page and banks, including credit card information, is transmitted over completely encrypted traffic.
- On every page where you enter your personal information while shopping with a credit card, the latest technologies are used for your security. The key located at the bottom of each browser indicates this.
- Users are enabled to make fast and secure payments using BKM Express, GarantiPay, and MasterPass along with credit, debit, and virtual cards.
- Users can use the secure payment infrastructure of banks, the "3D Secure System."
- wansse never requests credit card and password information from its users via email.
Fraud
- wansse guarantees maximum security with the software it uses and over 100 fraud control filters. These filters protect both users and itself against potential fraud in purchases.
- Payments made are subjected to security checks through the fraud filters and the "Fraud Unit" within the site. If necessary, users are contacted for security checks. This way, fraud is minimized and grievances are resolved.
Support
- wansse has a Call Center established to provide better and faster service to its users. Users can easily and quickly receive support from this center via phone seven days a week.
- Necessary system settings and warnings are made for new users of wansse to prevent them from choosing easily guessable or breakable passwords.
99.9% Protection
- wansse establishes an SSL connection with TLS V1.2. The certificate used by the bank and wansse is encrypted with RSA and SHA256, with a key size of 2048 bits. This is the best possible encryption and exceeds the recommended minimum values.
- The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) defines the logical and physical information security rules that must be followed during the processing, transmission, and storage of credit cards. These rules are developed and published by a council called PCI (Payment Card Industry), which includes members such as American Express, MasterCard Worldwide, Visa, and Discover Financial Services.
As a company, wansse does not keep your credit card information in its systems and, although not mandatory, our systems that process, transmit, and store sensitive credit card information are secure. Our importance in credit card processes and the security of any information you provide, along with our image among card manufacturers, has led us to complete our investments and on-site audit processes in 2016 and obtain PCI-DSS certification as of January 2017. - wansse conducts comprehensive vulnerability scanning tests on all its applications every quarter (4 times a year) and shares the results with partner banks and PCI (Payment Card Industry). Additionally, the wansse Information Security team repeats comprehensive vulnerability scanning tests 4 more times throughout the year on random dates to prevent lengthy gaps between tests.
